Description

The HELI G Series 20–30T Diesel Tow Tractors are designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial towing operations. Built on HELI’s proven engineering platform, these tractors combine high towing capacity, advanced transmission systems, and ergonomic design to deliver reliable performance in environments such as airports, seaports, and manufacturing facilities.

With towing capacities ranging from 20 to 30 tonnes, the G Series offers multiple transmission options, including mechanical gearboxes with synchronizers and hydraulic torque converters. Intelligent gear shifting technology ensures smooth transitions and prevents clutch damage due to improper operation. The tractors support both two-wheel and four-wheel hydraulic braking systems, providing secure and responsive stopping power even in emergency conditions.

The steering system features HELI’s proprietary transverse cylinder hydraulic steering, offering precise control and reducing wear on tires and axles. Suspension is provided by leaf springs and front shock absorbers, enhancing stability and ride comfort across uneven surfaces.

Operator comfort is prioritized with optional fully enclosed cabs, ergonomic dual seating, and digital LCD instrumentation. The cab design includes wide visibility, safety glass, and multi-speed wipers, while high-mounted air intakes improve engine performance and reduce cabin noise. The hydraulic system uses HELI’s integrated steady-flow gear pump technology, ensuring consistent performance with fewer fault points and lower oil temperatures. The system is sealed for leak-free operation and includes safety valves for added protection.

The towing mechanism includes a dual-point operation stick and pin component with self-locking and automatic guiding functions, allowing trailer hook-up and release from inside or outside the cab. This improves operational efficiency and safety by preventing accidental trailer detachment during travel.
