Description

The HELI G2 Series Lithium-ion Tow Tractors (2–7T) are engineered for high-efficiency towing in industrial and logistics environments. Designed for applications in automotive manufacturing, postal services, pharmaceuticals, and warehousing, these tractors combine robust performance, ergonomic design, and advanced lithium-ion technology.

With towing capacities ranging from 2 to 7 tonnes, the G2 Series offers models tailored to both stand-on and sit-down operation. The low step height allows easy entry and exit, while the seated driving position reduces operator fatigue during long shifts. The ergonomic layout includes adjustable steering wheels, intuitive pedal placement, and inching buttons for precise trailer coupling and release.

Powered by maintenance-free AC motors and lithium-ion batteries (up to 48V/302Ah), these tractors deliver strong torque, smooth acceleration, and energy-efficient operation. Charging takes just 2 hours and supports 6–8 hours of continuous use. The lithium system offers over 75% capacity retention after 4000 cycles and is optimized for environments ranging from -25°C to 55°C.

The 2–5T models feature mechanical steering systems, while the 6–7T models use electric steering with CAN bus communication, steering angle display, and automatic centering. Safety is enhanced with speed limiting during turns, multiple braking systems (mechanical, hydraulic, and regenerative), and emergency power cut-off functions.

Intelligent features include real-time system monitoring, closed-circuit protection, and lock-affirming during charging to prevent unsafe disconnection. Optional configurations include fire suppression systems, solid or traceless tires, multi-layer traction seats, and visual radar for reversing.

Maintenance is simplified with modular components, easy access to service points, and a durable frame. The G2 Series is built on HELI’s mature platform with over 68% component universality, reducing spare parts costs and improving serviceability.
